See Jane Run...

So I have to run ~not as in I don't really have time to write but as in I invested $90 in running shoes this weekend and so now I have to run to feel like it was a good idea.
I have run two of the last three nights and feel really good about it so we will see if I can keep this up. One of my incentives to run also is to see where I could get to if I was to do all of my running at one time ~so far I think I am out of the neighborhood.

hey! i've started running as well. it is great, as long as each step doesn't feel like pure torture. my secret to enjoying myself is to GO SLOW. i'm 26, you'd have thought i would've figured that out a long time ago wouldn't you? apparently not.

There is nothing like expensive running shoes to encourage you to run. My last pair of running shoes cost $120 (but they were so pretty!) and when I wore them I felt fast and very athletic. AND, I actually ran several times a week in them. My current pair only cost me $55 and even though they look just as good as the $120 pair they don't offer the same motivation. I get my moneys worth just walking from the house to the car. Happy Trails!!

Well, if we go with Debi Febi's "is it worth it" plan, then you only have to wear them 90 times. Hopefully, a majority of those 90 times are for running. Or something like that--right?

I think Debi should make a lovely spreadsheet and send it to all of us. Those with Blackberries can pull it up while shopping and calculate (justify) the value of any prospective purchase on the spot.

This would also be a valuable tool for convincing your co-shoppers to buying gorgeous items that you want to borrow.
