Day three and not a french hen in sight...

FELT SWITCH PLATE COVERS!!!
I am sorry but I had to get really excited about this memory. At our house growing up my mom had made Christmas switch plate covers that went on all of the light switches. They were made by Bucilla. One looked like a Christmas tree, one was a giant ornament, there were bells and other crazy Christmas stuff. Nothing says Christmas to me like sequined switch plate covers...

Now that we all have advent calendars, maybe we need to start working on our own switchplate covers. Wouldn't that be fun? My favorite was the big red poinsettia one.
